At Highlight Miniatures you can meet mother and daughter, Gitte Bager & Katja Bager
Gitte is owner, mother, wife, teacher and trainer.
&
Katja is co-owner, daughter, student (study to become a lawyer), trainer and competitor.
Our family also counts Carsten Bager & Jacob Bager.
Carsten is married to Gitte and the father of Katja and Jacob. Jacob is s a younger brother to Katja.
Carsten and Jacob don't share our passion for horses, but they always support us, and we love them for that.
Together Carsten and Jacob enjoy their passion. They love to go to the golf court together.
Our family live in Odder, a small town in Jutland, Denmark, Europe.

Our fairytail
Once upon a time.
It was love at first sight when we met our first miniature horse.
In 2008 we bought our first miniature horse, a very sweet little 2 year old mare.
In 2009, the next mare found her way to our stables, and Highlight Miniatures was founded.
The year after, in 2010, we searched for a perfect driving horse for Katja and the black stallion, Candylands Southern Secret, was the answer to all our dreams.
He is USA import, a jet black proven, powerfull driving horse and VERY sweet.
Now we were hooked on what should become a BIG passion.
Driving is our passion
We love the driving division so much, and we strive to buy, breed and educate some of the best American Miniature driving horses in the industry.
During the years, we have been competing on a National and an International level.
Several times our driving horses has been rewarded "The Most Spectacular Driving Horse in Show",
and several times our horses have received the most prestigious title in Europe, The European GRAND Champion title.
At Highlight Miniatures we highly recommend the American Miniature Horse for any horse lover.

We love the miniature horse breed because of the movement, the elegance and the grace.
With a miniature horse you can do anything that you can do with a big horse, except ride.

Our horses are registered in the AMHA & AMHR division, and all are out off very carefully selected bloodlines.
